The Institute
of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification ( IICRC
) was established to provide a means by which professional
cleaners could become 'Certified'. It recognizes technicians
and companies who have completed educational and practicum
requirements including exams. This program is similar to many
other fields such as electricians, plumbers and carpenters.
It also has cleaning "standards" that have to be
adhered to as well.

Health & Safety Technician, Color Repair Technician, Journeyman
